31st Annual Challenge Series |

Exceptional Child GrantWe have now opened up our early Exceptional Child Grant. This grant is to help assist families who might need a little extra help financial with the raising of their special needs children. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to Bryan Stucky at Bryan@wallinfuneralhome.com. Grant applications need to turned in by March 31st for consideration.

Challenge SeriesLittle things can open a world of possibilities for our neighbors who may need a hand up on their way to a brighter, more productive future. You’ve seen how “little things” are sometimes beyond the financial reach of our neighbors. For adult learners it may mean a little help paying tuition to our local community college. For children challenged with special needs it may be equipment or tools to increase mobility or safety. In the Oak Harbor community some of these “little things” are provided by North Whidbey Sunrise Rotary Club’s Challenge Grant. You can help make sure these grants are available with your sponsorship of the 30th Annual Rotary Sunrise Challenge Series Race. Platinum – $1,500+ includes logo or name on race car, your flyers/ banners at the event and media recognition Gold– $1,000 – $1,499 includes logo or name on race car and media recognition Silver – $500 –$999 includes logo or name on race car and media recognition Bronze – $100–$499 includes name recognition Sponsor- $50 – recognition as a sponsor Thank you for helping to open the world of possibilities for children and adult students in our community. Community Grant 2021North Whidbey Island Sunrise Rotary is seeking applicants for our new “Community Grant 2021”.
We will be awarding the grant to a family or person with special needs Our mission is to significantly impact the life of a person with disabilities each year. We will be accepting grant applications until March 31, 2021and we will award the grant by April 30, 2021. Applications can be mailed to: P.O. Box 577 Oak Harbor, WA 98277. 2nd Annual Poker Tournament
Please join us on Saturday November 9th at the Oak Harbor VFW, for our second annual Charity Poker Tournament. Buy in is $100 with top players taking home 50% of the pot. In addition, the first place spot will win a Championship Bracelet courtesy of Gerald's Jewelry. Registration begins at 5:30 with tournament to begin at 6. It will be at the end of August, 2020 at 10:00am Date to be announced soon. on Barrington Drive in Oak Harbor The Rotary Club of North Whidbey Island Sunrise has hosted this event for many years making a significant impact on our community. A wonderful day is set aside to give many of our Community’s children a very memorable time. Join us in sponsoring this event for Special Needs youth in a challenge downhill race as co-drivers in every car. Fun for everyone! |
